We were talking about language in psych today. There were proverbs and common sayings and stuff written with unnecessarily “large” words that had the same meaning (I don’t remember why it was important), and “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” came up and a girl was like, “She’s so stupid, that’s from The Shining. It’s not a saying.” And she told her friend like five times.

It’s actually attributed to James Howell, 17th century…
